International Seminar on Digital Documentation as an Imperative Tool for Safeguarding Cultural Heritage
ICHCAP, together with the Digital Heritage Lab, Graduate School of Culture Technology, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, organized an international seminar entitle “Protecting the Past for the Future: Digital Documentation as One of the Imperative Tools for Safeguarding of Cultural Heritage,” 20 July 2019.\n\nThe seminar consisted of three sessions: the first covered the archiving and visualization of intangible cultural heritage; the second focused on digital documentation methods for tangible cultural heritage; and the third discussed the challenges faced by Korea in establishing cultural heritage-related digital data.

This book showcases five inspiring stories of Asia-Pacific NGOs and how their dedication to ICH safeguarding contributes to acheiving SDGs. The efforts that went into compiling the section of this book include the elaborating by the authors, editors, and advisors to ensure that it is both valuable and meaningful for our readers. The local, regional and global public awareness about NGOs and their ICH safeguarding activities in the Asia-Pacific region will be substantially raised by this book. The knowledge and experiences will also be presented to other fellow NGOs of today and tomorrow and provide opportunities to learn from one another.

Intangible Cultural Heritage in Tajikistan
This Promotional book is a result of researches done by researchers of the Research Institute of Culture and Information and it was published by finance assistance of the International Information and Networking Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under auspices of UNESCO (ICHCAP). 2019 Living Heritage Series: Tugging Rituals and Games
This book introduces the tug-of-war traditions of Korea and the three Southeast Asian countries mentioned as well as the tugging traditions passed down in Japan, Thailand, and Ukraine. The book presents studies showing various conditions and perceptions of tug-of-war in each country. So, it will be valuable research material for those interested in tug-of-war.

The participants selected their own topic and conducted researches based on their various activities during their five-month stay in Korea.
