Chavgon - horse game
Chavgon or equestrian polo is a traditional Tajik sport. Chavgon - a team game on horseback with a chavgon (stick) and a ball lasts two halves on the field. Each half is called "chukka", which consists of 7 minutes. Players on horseback, while riding, try to throw the ball into the goal of the opposing team. The referee controls the match. Competitions are held during the celebration of Navruz and national official holidays.
