Kandekko-age is a ritual event conducted on Kosyogatu, or 15th of January according to the lunar calendar, to wish for a good luck in the coming year. People make Kandekko, or a hoe, and a phallus out of a wooden branch and connect them with a rope, throw it up to the sacred tree in order to forecast their lucks of the year.\n01: Men praying to the god of the village before the ritual
