Amagugu International Heritage Centre
Amagugu International Heritage Centre (AIHC) was established in 2010 out of the vision of Pathisa Nyathi, the founding director and owner. AIHC’s developmental thrust and resourcing ideology is informed by self-help and self-sufficiency which engenders a spirit of independence and pride. nnAIHC aims to serve as the centre of excellence in the documentation, preservation and promotion of indigenous cultural heritage. Its mission lies in providing a venue and organises a variety of cultural, educational and recreational programmes for the public to learn and appreciate different facets of indigenous heritage, history and cultural context.

INSTITUTE OF LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE OF MONGOLIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES
The Institute of Language and Literature (ILL) at the Mongolian Academy of Sciences is a scientific organization that manages academic researches on philology, literature, and folklore in Mongolia. The ILL was founded as the Institute of Sutra and Script in 1921. The name subsequently institute changed to the Cabinet of Philology in 1930, to the Centre for the Study of Philology and Literature in 1957, and finally to the Institute of Language and Literature in 1961 when the Mongolian Academy of Sciences was established. nSince 1962, the ILL at the Mongolian Academy of Sciences has been implementing fieldwork on folk heritage and local dialects one to three times per year. Sometimes folk tellers and singers have been invited to make audio and video recordings. As a result of these activities, the ILL has built a treasury of audio recordings and manuscripts of Mongolian cultural heritage. For instance, this treasury contains tales, heroic epics, long and short songs, and wise and metaphoric words. Also our researchers have recorded ethnic legends and stories about rituals and customs and festivals. About 1100 hours of audio recordings have been preserved in this fund. We are also preserving 451 units of handwritten books and manuscripts.

Craft Council of Kyrgyzstan
The Craft Council of Kyrgyzstan is the craftsmen association that has united more than 5000 craftsmen throughout Kyrgyzstan and with the representatives of all regions in the country. \n\nThe Crafts Council was established in 2013 with the aim of uniting craftspeople on the basis of common interest to support efforts in promoting the handicraft sector and traditional crafts in the Kyrgyz Republic. The Crafts Council represents and protects the interests of Kyrgyz craftspeople at the national and international levels. \n\nThe Craft Council of manages the work of communities and NGOs and their cooperation in implementing measures to safeguard traditional craftsmanship. It cooperates with different stakeholders and connects craftspeople with governmental institutions or educational organizations for instance. \n\nNational Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic for UNESCO and the Crafts Council have a long successful cooperation history, which is reflected in joint nomination files such as “Ala-kiyiz and Shyrdak, art of Kyrgyz traditional felt carpets” inscribed on the Urgent Safeguarding List of UNESCO, preparation of periodic reports, organization of community-based events and traditional crafts documenting activities. All members of the Crafts Council are usually encouraged to actively take part in the safeguarding, popularization, and transmission of common heritage. \n

All India Artisans and Craftworkers Welfare Association (AIACA)
AIACA, a nationwide network of handicraft and handloom clusters, directly addresses the need to empower traditional artisan clusters across India through professionalization of their craft based skills for sustainable enterprise development. AIACA specializes in sustainable craft based livelihood initiatives through skill development, design innovation and product diversification, entrepreneurship development, direct market access, access to social entitlements and schemes and policy advocacy. AIACA has a unique national certification proramme, Craftmark (www.craftmark.org), that certifies and improves the economic competitiveness of genuine handmade craft processes and products of India and brings under its fold, artisans, SHGs, cooperatives, associations, social enterprises, and individual practitioners to gain from its business development and promotional services thus creating dignity and pride in the practice of traditional crafts in the long run. AIACA has over 75 Craftmark members (outreach of over 20,000 artisans across 22 states of India) and has documented over 80 traditional craft processes practiced in the country.

GEORGE TOWN WORLD HERITAGE INCORPORATED (GTWHI)
As one of the most complete surviving historic city centers with a multicultural living heritage on the Straits of Malacca, George Town was inscribed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in 2008, together with Melaka. To manage, monitor, and promote the George Town World Heritage Site, George Town World Heritage Incorporated (gtwhi.com.my) was established in 2010 by the state government of Penang.\nGTWHI works closely with the council and community to overcome day-to-day challenges with regard to promoting sustainable tourism, revitalizing traditional trades, remodeling local market ecology, redefining the use of space, and driving residents back to the city center. We also accumulate baseline data through systematic and scientific research to develop mid- and long-term heritage conservation programs and policies. Our approaches are highly organic and community based, and we take serious commitments to sustain the coexistence of diversity, which is divided according to geographical area, linguistic groups, religious identity, and social status.

Rupayan Sansthan(Rajasthan Institute of Folklore)
In the 1960s, Late Komal Kothari ,a renowed folklorist and ethnomusicologist and his very close friend, Vijaydan Detha an eminent Rajasthani writer realized that the problem of language covered the whole way of life of people and soon set out on a goal which became larger than collecting tales and songs. They further expanded their archival and research work in the field of folklore encompassing folk songs, folk tales, folk beliefs, proverbs, folk ballads, folk epics of long plays, folk gods and goddesses, social practices, rituals, fairs and festivals, rural food, nomads and pastoral ways of life. Until 1990’s they travelled more than 29000 villages to collect the large repository of cultural heritage both intangible (oral) in the form of audio video and tangible object’s of daily life made from natural resources. During 30years of intense study by them on folklore (in ethno-geographic regions) they finally looked into the traditional ways of knowledge transmission where the practice is to “learn but not to teach” in a structured way. In the year 1995 Komal Kothari got the recognition of his work by the Government of India and has been awarded Padma-Shree in 1983 and Padma Bhusan in 2004.

SOMAIYA KALA VIDYA
To provide artisans with the opportunity to realize their creative capacity, and to insure that craft traditions remained genuine cultural heritage, Judy Frater began a design education program for artisans in Kutch. In 2005, Kala Raksha Vidhyalaya opened its doors to artisan students: traditional weavers, ajrakh printers, bandhani artists, and embroiderers, with no further prerequisites of age or formal education.\nIn 2014, the year-long program evolved and expanded to Somaiya Kala Vidya. In six two-week intensive residential sessions spread over a year, artisan students learn to innovate within their traditions. nThe most innovative tool that we use in our design classes is simply to present problems to solve. We also draw on local traditions and teach as practically as possible. In effect, the design course re-imagines traditional systems in an appropriate contemporary form. Master artisan advisors teach students about traditions, as children once learned from elders; weavers, printers, and dyers learning together revitalizes the inherent interdependence in traditional textiles; and interface with urban markets reinvents direct contact with hereditary clients.\nAfter design education for artisans in Kutch reached its goals, Somaiya Kala Vidya is scaling out their approach to other regions. Keeping cultural heritage as the foundation, they intend to teach design within regions, drawing on local language and culture.

It fosters self-reliant economic enterprise, delivers learning and life skills, safeguards a vibrant Syrian cultural identity, builds strong and engaged communities, and extends life-changing humanitarian solutions.\nThe Trust also recognises that positive change can have a multiplier effect; it capitalises on its social perspective by influencing policy-making and legislation to ensure that the benefits passed to its immediate beneficiaries, are similarly extended to all.

By incorporating a trilingual approach, which includes English, Urdu and their Mother Language, the students recognize culture and art education not as a foreign stimulus but the one they are inherently connected with.

Long An Palace is the main displaying hall of the museum, which was built in 1845 under thenreign of emperor Thieu Tri (1841-1847). Due to various values of history, culture, and fine arts,nLong An Palace is among the Complex of Hue Monuments, the World Cultural Heritage. Hue RoyalnAntiquities Museum is a member of International Council of Museums (ICOM).\nThe museum collections reflect the social, ritual, political, and spiritual life of the aristocracy undernthe Nguyen dynasty viewed from collections of royal costumes, porcelains, furniture, daily-lifenfacilities, ritual items, etc. made of different materials: gold, silver, bronze, bone, ivory, enamelednbronze-wares, ceramics, wood, papers, and so on. In particular, the museum also houses the Sectionnof Champa antiques established in 1927 to introduce typical Champa sculptures that reflect thenspecial position of Champa culture in the establishment and development of Hue culture over thencenturies.
