The Cultural Heritage Association of Vietnam (CHAV) is a social and professional organization thatnbrings together organizations and individuals engaged in professional activities or passionate aboutncultural heritage, contributing to the protection and promotion of its values. Established throughnthe Decision No. 28/2004/QD-BNV by the Minister of Home Affairs on 23 April 2004, CHAV worksnacross the country under the administration and auspices of the Ministry of Culture andnInformation. Within its mandates regulated by law CHAV regularly establishes collaboration withnnational and international organizations and individuals. The initiative of establishing annassociation advocating for the preservation of monuments and museums dates back to the earlyn1990s when the Department of Conservation and Museology, currently the Department of CulturalnHeritage, first drafted the operative regulations of the association. Especially after the promulgationnof the Law on Cultural Heritage in many seminars and in the media, numerous researchers andnenthusiasts of national culture expressed their wish for prompt establishment of the association. Innearly 2004, the Mobilizing Committee for the establishment of CHAV was officially accredited by thenMinistry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

The World Ethnogames Confederation is an international organization whose activities are aimed at preserving, reviving and developing the ethnocultural, ethnosports and universal world ethnic movement, as well as the development of intercultural and interfaith dialogue.\n\nThe main goals of the World Ethnogames Confederation are to develop and popularize the ethnoculture heritage and ethnosport movement, and to provide access to the ethnosport and ethnoculture education.\n\nThe World Ethnogames Confederation has realized several large international projects such as “Nomad Universe”, "Ethno-Festival of the Silk Road" and the “World Nomad Games” the biggest program initiated by the Kyrgyz Republic for the safeguarding and promotion of traditional games and sports. During the First, Second, and Third World Nomad Games (WNG) the World Ethnogames Confederation served as a Secretariat of WNG and supported the preparation for the games, crafts fairs, scientific conferences, etc. \n\nThe Confederation’s activities are coordinated by Mr. Askhat Akibaev. He is the head and author of the projects of the World Confederation of Ethnogames. He graduated from Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn and continued his studies at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. \n

Toguz Korgool Federation was founded in 1991 by bearers and practitioners that aimed to promote the game in all regions of the country.\n\nToguz korgool is played on a special board with pellets made of stone, wood, metal, etc. The game has several variations and improves the strategic and creative thinking of the players. Nowadays, toguz korgool is one of the popular traditional games played during many cultural, social, and sports events and contests. The Federation has established a number of clubs in schools and universities in the country to enhance peer-to-peer learning and the transmission of the game to a younger generation. \n\nToguz Korgool Federation promotes the game through different means by creating online games, conducting research, organizing contests, etc. Twice a year, trainers of the game strengthen their capacity by attending special courses. The toguz korgool game was included in the program of the World Nomad Games and attracted participants from 34 countries (as of 2018, during the III World Nomad Games). There is also International Toguz Korgool Federation which unites more than 56 countries that play this intellectual game. \n\nIn 2020, with the support of the Federation the nomination file “Traditional intelligence and strategy game: Togyzqumalaq, Toguz Korgool, Mangala/Göçürme” was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Türkiye. \n\nThe Federation continues its efforts in the wide dissemination, safeguarding, and promotion of the strategy game for global communities. \n

Punjab Folk Art Centre is a non-governmental organisation (NGO). It was established in the year 2002. Punjab Folk Art Centre works in the area of Art & Culture. The organisation is familiarizing the people of Punjab at grass root level with their culture. The organisation operates in Gurudaspur and organizes many folk events to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage and sports of this region.

The Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam belongs to the Hanoi CitynDepartment of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The Center has the mission of managing, preserving,nand organizing activities related to the national monument Temple of Literature and thenVietnamese ancient system of competitive examinations.

The Vietnam National Academy of Music is an institution under the Ministry of Culture, Sports andnTourism. The academy provides training programs at undergraduate, graduate and lower levels innmany professional musical disciplines. The academy has the mission to train music personnel andnartists in music composition, performance, research, criticism (musicology), and pedagogy.

Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS) is a scientific institution under thenMinistry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MoCST). It conducts research and scientific activities andnprovides graduate training in culture and arts. It has been carrying out research and developingnscientific foundations for MoCST to develop strategy and build instruments and policies for statenmanagement of culture, family life, sports and tourism. It also safeguards intangible culturalnheritage by means of data/material collection and research. It operates doctoral programs innculture and arts with five majors as follows: Cultural Studies, Cultural Management, Theory andnHistory of Theatrical Arts, and Theory and History of Fine Arts and Folklore.
