Jaggery (Htan Nyat) is a very important sweet delicacy in Myanmar. A boiled toddy palm sap (Htan Yee), its color ranges from yellow to brown. Toddy palm tree (Htan Pin) grows especially in the rural area of the central dry zone of Myanmar such as Mandalay, Magway, and Sagaing Regions. Jaggery production is a traditional production in most villages in Kyauk Pa Daung, Myin Gyan, Taung Thar, We Laung, Ye Sa Gyo, Pa Kok Ku, Meik Ti La, Poppa, Bagan, and Nyaung Oo township. Other growing areas of toddy palm tree (Htan Pin) are located in lower Myanmar such as Tha Nin Thar Yi and Ayeyarwady Regions, as well as Dawei, Yebyu, and Thaton Districts.

China Folklore Society (CFS) has 2,256 registered members across the country. In June 2012, the CFS was accredited and now provides advisory services to the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding ICH. In November of 2014, the CFS was appointed as member of Evaluation Body by the Committee.

Turquoise Mountain has now built over 50 small businesses in Afghanistan, Myanmar, and the Middle East, supporting a new generation of artisan entrepreneurs who will not only drive economic development, but also preserve their unique cultures and traditions.

At The Kishkinda Trust (TKT) in Anegundi, conservation empowers communities and creates a way of life that considers culture as an intangible element permeating all activities in life- ranging from functional to ideational-  ecology, cuisine, crafts, design, agriculture, technology, education, markets and festivals. Founded in the year 1997 by Shama Pawar, The Kishkinda Trust (TKT) assists the villagers of Anegundi at a grassroots level to build capacity in order to maintain business incubators and to conserve their historical heritage. TKT runs several unique programs, which are seamlessly integrated with the lives of the local people and that empower them economically.

The Vietnam National Academy of Music is an institution under the Ministry of Culture, Sports andnTourism. The academy provides training programs at undergraduate, graduate and lower levels innmany professional musical disciplines. The academy has the mission to train music personnel andnartists in music composition, performance, research, criticism (musicology), and pedagogy.
