| Description | 난 탈룽(Nang talung)은 태국 남부 지역의 그림자 인형극이다. 난 탈룽은 인형 극단의 출신지인 파탈룽(Phatthalung)에서 유래했으며, 파탈룽 지역인들이 인도의 인형극에서 영향을 받아 만든 새롭게 만들어진 형태라고 문헌에 기록되어 있다. 과거 난 탈룽은 장례식에서 빠지지 않고 연행되었으나 현재는 주로 옥외 공연의 형태로 진행되고 있고 이마저도 미디어 발전의 영향으로 그 인기가 점차 감소하는 추세이다. 극단들은 위기 타파를 위해 연극에 서양 악기를 추가하는 등 다양한 시도를 하고 있다. | ||
