    2. Activities  

    1) Appoint a Project Coordinator (PC) & oversight of the project. 

    2) Provision of ICHCAP Technical Advisor 

    3) Internal ichLINK Project Committee (IIPC) organized 

    4) Development & implementation of a Fiji-ichLINK Project Plan (FIPP)

    5) Executive Committee for ichLINK Project (ECIP)

    6) Procurement of Technical equipment for project. The TILC needs technical equipment to:

    (a)    Collect additional data from field;

    (b)    Digitize collected data;

    (c)    Screening data;

    (d)    Storage of data collected from field.

    7) Identification and recruitment of technical experts. TILC will need experts in data cleansing and editing of:

    (a)    Audio recordings

    (b)    Video recordings

    (c)    Photographs

    (d)    Other formatted materials 

    8) Checking and Selecting Target Materials for online project    Appraisal of data in storage – the IIPC will be responsible for proper arrangement, description and location of data necessary for use. Keeping in mind the requirements necessary such as open domain and accessibility has no restrictions. This process will allow sorting of materials to be used. Selection of Materials – IIPC will first go through the Special Revival Programme materials to ascertain those that can be used for this particular project. Before appraisal, the IIPC will keep in mind that the materials will be used to:

    (a)    Describe iTaukei ICH Elements;

    (b)    Share the stories and endurance of ICH practitioners, communities, advocates, Administrators and decision makers;

    (c)    News and Events relating to ICH. 



    Materials collated include:

    (a)    Photos format

    (b)    Audio format 

    (c)    Video format

    (d)    Manuscripts, diaries, newspaper articles and other written materials. 

    Researching and collation additional data

    Digitizing target materials

    Screening & editing of targeted materials 

    Storing digital files to archive          

    Data Submission to ICHCAP including processing and curation. 

    Submission of project outcomes

    Submission of final report (including financial report)



    3. Expected outcome

    A.    International recognition and acknowledgment of the richness in diversity of ICH elements of the iTaukei community.

    B.    Boost interest and curiosity of local communities and diaspora communities in learning and educating themselves about iTaukei ICH.

    C.    Boost online presence of work carried out by TILC in as far as ICH documentation and safekeeping is concerned. 

    D.    Fully-fledged equipment that will ensure sustainability of the initiative and fulfillment of other requirements of digital projects at TILC.

    E.    An enhanced and well-organized digital storage system.

    F.    Total of 7 iTaukei ICH elements & information (Fiji) will be shared through the ichLinks website - https://ichlinks.com/archive/elements/elementsL.do 

    G.    Total of 52 ICH materials including photos, videos, publication and audio on Fiji will be shared

    H.    Project provides impetus on how the TILC can organize its CMP database for accessibility.
