2. Activity descriptions

 A. Purchasing necessary equipment and system:

This could include the purchase of necessary equipment and systems including the procurement of NAS, desktop computers/laptops and networking equipments including all the components that will be required to institute an online database o ICH Elements of Bhutan.

 B. Training for ICH researchers and IT personnel:

Staff of the NLAB will require training to use and to further maintain the database updated.

 C. Development ofICH Database:

The development of ICH database could start with the data entry of a few ICH elements as a start. simultaneously, will carry out the collection of data about ICH elements.

 D. Since the NLAB has already few elements researched and documented in the national language Dzongkha, these elements could be translated to English for a start.

 E. Develop ICH digital contents

In addition to the research and documentation of ICH elements, the ICH Database could also host digital contents of the elements, including both audio and video files. The NLAB will carry out the development of digital contents of ICH elements.

 F. Organizing local ICH events:

Once the ICH Database has been instituted, the NLAB could conduct a few local ICH events to promote the database and also to make people aware of ICH Safeguarding activities and its importance.
