Description Knowledge and practices related to year seasons are the result of centuries-old observations of nature applied to the life. For many centuries and millennia, people carefully collected folk signs about nature. Every trifle, every natural phenomenon not even significant at first glance, could one day become a reliable harbinger of an important event in human life. Taking into account the relationship between certain natural phenomena, a person remembered them in the form of short acceptances, which over time were transmitted from father to son, from grandfather to grandson. Many of these will not lose their relevance to this day, and some have long passed into the category of superstition.
Social and cultural significance From ancient times, man monitored nature, noticed certain phenomena, noted seasonal changes and noticed characteristic signs by which it was possible to predict the weather. So appeared folk signs, a generation from a generation, which made up a folk calendar. It has its long history and its life associated with agriculture and the peculiarities of nature in our country. Often, folk signs were sung by chants, appeared in tales and epics, and many weather signs in the folk calendar are still used and sometimes accurately predict the yield, seasonality of natural phenomena and, even, the long-term weather forecast. Some signs have long been captured in the names of months and seasonal phenomena: koklam, ayam acuz, hut-yut, cilla, saratan, Navroz. From ancient times, the people kept their calendar, according to which the peasant looked at the weather in the courtyard, watched the phenomena of nature and spoke proverbs about what the upcoming season would be. After all, it depended on what the crop would be in the year, which means when and how to prepare for work in the garden and in the field. Such a nature diary was called the "People's Calendar," which from generation to generation conveyed knowledge of nature in proverbs and sayings. Many of them do not lose their wisdom now, suggest the weather and the upcoming changes in the seasons.
