"The most important moryon is Longhino (Longinus), the half-blind Roman soldier who stabbed Jesus on the side with his spear during Crucifixion. A drop of blood fell into his blind eye, which healed. Longinus became Christian, was persecuted and was beheaded. His story is reenacted in the moryonan. That year, Longhino is played by 24-year old Alvin Jay Mapacpac.
