Description The pedagogical philosopher R. S. Peters defined education as “the process of introducing people to a civilized way of life.” Education can only advance the holistic development of a person through purposeful activities that embody value when it includes a normative element, cognitive element, and procedural element. Teaching the normative element of ICH is to convey culture in various forms as the intellectual product of humanity through knowledge and experience from the perspective of delivering values. The cognitive element is the knowledge and intellectual training required to comprehend the essence of various cultures. The procedural element refers to establishing the foundation for easily participating in learning, appreciation, and creation in everyday life. In sum, creative transmission through ICH education is a possible and necessary pursuit from an educational perspective.
